Typical responsibilities
- Design and build AI features: assistants, search, summaries, classification and recommendations.
- Choose and integrate models and APIs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, or open-source models.
- Prepare and connect the data each feature needs, including retrieval from your documents and databases.
- Write evaluations and tests to measure quality, accuracy and cost before and after launch.
- Deploy AI services with monitoring, logging and fallbacks.
- Control latency and token costs as usage grows.
- Work with product, design and engineering to turn ideas into shipped features.
